Hi,
The situation in Iran is getting worse by the minute. The events happening in Iran are really sad. I really hope that Iran's people get back there freedom of speech and democracy.

I commend you for this article. This only shows that no matter what our belief, interests and advocacy. We are all the same when it comes to human rights. Really we don't know the root of chaos happening not just only in IRAN but all over the world. Every politician has their own selfish agenda and sometimes innocent people are dragged into wrong belief or the true purpose of the issue. What Is wrong here is people suffer, die with what they believe in and who benefit? Your guess is as good as mine.

Freedom from war, pain, limitation and fear is our birthright. Freedom to unlock the secrets of our higher nature within, and to soar through the skies of our own becoming. As each individual lays down their internal weapons hope enters and peace must eventually dawn.

The reach of the grass roots media allows us to express our support for Iranians in what is bound to be a long struggle for human rights and freedom. I allows us to strip the "otherness" away and acknowledge and advocate for their democracy. It allows us to look deep within ourselves and acknowledge that government is the mirror that reflects the state of society. And as we view both the inner and outer panorama, we pray for the shift required to bring freedom and peace to Iran and to the world will come soon.

I too believe that public attention to the events in Iran helps to build bridges among peoples, if not their governments. That will help us to stop viewing each other as monolithic, very scary Others.

Very well written article, Tony. I agree totally that the Iranian people need our support and respect. The use of Social Media to show support is a very positive way to show the people of Iran that their voices are being heard.
